The Ellensburg Downtown Association’s Mural Society raised $40,000 during its annual Blank Canvas Party on August 8th. The fundraising dinner brought live music and painting, cabaret entertainment, auctions, and storytelling to the alley behind Gallery One Visual Arts Center in downtown Ellensburg. During March’s First Friday Art Walk, community members gathered for an evening of art, music, and connection in support of downtown Ellensburg’s growing mural program. Guests at Fortuity Cellars/Nuwave Gallery enjoyed live acoustic music, a collaborative community mural, art experiences, and raffle prizes throughout the night.
