About The Event
Buskers in the Burg is an annual celebration of performance art in the heart of Ellensburg, held on September 27, 2025. This event features live street performers, larger-than-life puppets from Blue Bear Puppet Lab, main stage acts, family-friendly activities, and more during at Unity Park in Ellensburg, Washington.
WHAT IS A BUSKER?
Buskers are street performers including musicians, dancers, theater groups, and other performance artists who perform in public spaces. This program is intended to provide a low-barrier opportunity for local and regional artists of all experience levels to share their work with the community.
REGISTER TO BE A BUSKER
All performers are vetted by the Buskers in the Burg Committee, and busker slots are limited. Selected buskers/groups will receive $150, and have the chance to win cash prizes between $50-$150 through audience voting.
