Cause Night: A Night of Creativity and Community Impact

Nuwave Gallery (Nuwave) and Fortuity Cellars (Fortuity) are excited to invite the community to "Cause Night: A Night of Creativity and Community Impact " on February 28, 2024, from: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM at Nuwave and Fortuity in Downtown Ellensburg. This event promises a unique blend of artistic expression, fine wine, and a shared commitment to supporting public art initiatives.

In a commitment to community, Nuwave and Fortuity will donate to the Downtown Ellensburg Mural Restoration project led by the Ellensburg Downtown Association. This initiative aims to preserve the rich history of the beautiful downtown area.

Join us on February 28 to savor a unique wine while unleashing your creativity in a collective contribution of cultural heritage.

What: A Night of Creativity and Community Impact

• Create Your Own Art: Guests are encouraged to unleash their      creativity during Cause Night. Art supplies will be provided, allowing      attendees to create their own artwork. Guests may take the art home or      donate it to the Community Wall.
• Artist-Label Bottles: Fortuity Cellars extends its dedication to      public art by donating $2 from each bottle sold of the exclusive      Artist-Label series. These limited-edition bottles feature artwork by      renowned contemporary artist Erin Oostra, providing a harmonious blend of      fine art and exquisite wine craftsmanship. Limited, special edition wines      are available for purchase here and may be pick up at the Ellensburg      location.  The original art that inspired the wine label is also on      auction, with a portion of the proceeds donated back to the EDA’s mural      restoration fund. • Community Wall Revitalization: The Nuwave Community Wall,      situated in the gallery's back left corner, will be refreshed during Cause      Night. Serving as a canvas for local artists, both novice and experienced,      the wall's artwork will be available for purchase by donation, further      enriching the community's vibrant artistic tapestry.
• Snacks will be provided by the EDA and Fortuity wine,      local beer and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase,      with 10% of all wine sales being donated back to the cause of the quarter.

About Cause Night: Cause Night is one piece of both Nuwave and Fortuity’s philanthropic program.  This night of community giving is held each quarter, with both Nuwave and Fortuity donating a portion of their sales of the evening to a local nonprofit. The EDA will be the recipient of donations in the first quarter for the next three years. Kittitas Environmental Education Network, of KEEN, is the second quarter recipient for 2024-2026. Quarters three and four recipients have not been announced.
