Hoedown in the Downtown

The annual Hoedown in the Downtown is back, but with a few twists this year! Join us the weekend before the Ellensburg Rodeo for the inaugural Rodeo City Ribfest, a concert series, vendors and food trucks, a locally-sourced beer garden, and so much more.

RODEO CITY RIB FEST
August 24 | 12 - 6 p.m.
August 25 | 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Join pitmasters from around the northwest at this PNWBA-sanctioned rib cook off. Attendees will be able to purchase script for rib samples, and will get to see the winner crowned on Saturday.

CONCERT SERIES &
BEER GARDEN
August 24 | 1:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Throw on your boots and head down to Unity Park for headliner Chance McKinney. Openers for the night include "Cascade Cowgirl" Kitty Mae, and Ellensburg-favorite Jukebox Central. The event will feature a lively and local beer garden sponsored by Iron Horse Brewery and Fortuity Cellars.

  • Beer Garden: 1 - 10 p.m.
    Jukebox Central: 3:30 p.m.
    Kitty Mae: 5:30 p.m.
    Chance McKinney: 7:00 p.m.

VENDORS AND ACTIVITIES
August 24 | 12 - 9:30 p.m.

Join the fun with family-friendly activities like inflatables, a Kid's Corral with games and crafts, a vendor fair, food trucks, and more.
