Ellensburg Downtown Association’ Brown Bag Business Basics series Featured in National Main Street News

The Ellensburg Downtown Association’s monthly business improvement seminar series, Brown Bag Business Basics,  received a little extra boost recently when it was featured in the current issue of Main Street News, a publication of the National Trust Main Street Center, located in Washington DC.

The half page story touting the success of this business improvement series appears on page 14 of the current issue.

“I think we’ve all been surprised by how well this series has been received and by the amount of positive feedback we’ve received.” According to Association Director, Timothy Bishop, who added “We’ve had several of the authors for the series including Mark Sanborn and Bill Collier contact us regarding the series and offer to help any way they can.”

The seminar series takes place on the Third Thursday of each month between Noon and 1 p.m. at the Hal Holmes Community, Center 201 N Ruby Street, and is free to the public.  Attendance for the first quarter has averaged 15 business owners each month.  This month’s review is scheduled for April 19th and will feature Bill Collier’s How to Succeed as a  Small Business Owner.. And Still Have a Life”
